🤔 Sɪᴍᴘʟᴇ Lɪғᴇ Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs 💭
This'll be what I'm thinking about. Whether it be from books I've read to experiences I've had, you'll find all sorts of stuff here. The purpose is either to entertain or give some life advice, so I hope you enjoy if you're interested!
They're gone, every single one of them. You can't find them in any store, no matter where you go. You might be able to find some online, or a few pieces of a set at Walmart if you're lucky, but unfortunately I bought all of them before the pandemic. What I'm talking about are weights. I remember when the pandemic first became a huge deal and people started rushing to their local store to buy out every single roll of toilet paper, every roll of paper towels, all of the canned goods, and pretty much everything that had to do with cleaning. I remember going to Walmart one day looking for some hand sanitizer and realizing that the entire isle of cleaning products was barren. It was pretty funny when I first looked at it, but then it hit me. This was just the beginning of my troubles and that I would have to start making predictions as to what was going to go out of stock next. Fortunately for me, the first thing that came to mind was the fact that gyms were going to close down next.

I made my way to the aisle with all of the exercise equipment and began to fill my cart with every weight and dumbbell that I needed. I made sure to grab all the 15, 10, 5, and 2.5 pound weights for a set of dumbbells that I can adjust to anything that I needed. I also grabbed an incline bench as well as the last of the 40 lb dumbbells that had been in stock, as all of the other dumbbells were already gone or too light for someone as big as me. Sure enough, my prediction came true. As all of the gyms started to shut down, every single Walmart, Target, and Big 5 in the area began to run out of all of their exercise equipment. What's funny is that today I just donated my 40 lb dumbbells and my 30 lb dumbbells that I don't use anymore. Because I have an adjustable dumbbell set and can bring both of them up to over 70 lb each, I don't really need any of my old dumbbells. In fact, the 30-pound dumbbells are kind of useless to me now, and I'm going to outgrow the 40 lb dumbbells soon enough. I had a couple of friends who told me of their struggles in finding dumbbells, and lucky for them, I had a few spare dumbbells that I did not need.

I have just returned from dropping the dumbbells off. Now I have a little bit of extra space where I had previously left those dumbbells, and I'm starting to think that I should order some more equipment online to fill the gap. Perhaps another set of adjustable dumbbells? I can set one pair to 60 or 70 for various back, shoulder, and chest exercises while leaving one set at 45 for incline curls (50 when I get there!). This way I don't have to keep going back and forth between the sets. I really can't wait for when the quarantine is over and I'm looking like a monster as some of my friends have gained weight and not taken advantage of all the free time that was given to them from the quarantine. To whom it may concern, I hope you were able to snag yourself some workout equipment before people went nuts after their gyms closed down.
