There is a lump beneath a gold-on-gold, damask, silk blanket featuring sunflowers, dahlias, stargazer lilies, and waterlilies.
The blanket, and lump are atop a silk-cushioned throne that matches the blanket.
The lump stirs.
Out from beneath slips a black, Fennec fox kit's head with closed eyes.
The eyes open to vivid, sage green irises.
A man in a very high class kimono ensemble bends over, placing a golden crown with golden diamonds upon the fox's head.
The man is then handed a matching, buckled, and tagged collar, that he places securely on the fox.
"Today, I crown you my son," says the man.
The kit watches as his new father sits upon a bigger, grander throne beside his own.
The pubescent Fennec is laying on his thrown in person form with his big, Fennec ears, and his fluffy, Fennec tail. His left leg is over the armrest, while the right is hanging off the front of the throne. His left arm is folded across his belly, holding a plum, while the right is alongside his torso, also holding a plum.
His kimono, and hakama pants ensemble features pine, bamboo, and plum.
He brings his left plum to his mouth, taking a delicious bite he quite clearly enjoys.
Then, he bites the right plum, reresting his left arm.
He gradually alternates his arms between rest, and plum bites.
He then notices that his father is watching him from the grander throne.
His father facepalms, leaning on his right elbow that's upon an armrest.
The Fennec returns to eating his plums.
"I remember my days in the orphanage;" the kit thinks; "And, those I mistook for family. I never knew the meaning. Family care. Family love. Family take care. Family teach. Family encourage. And, family discourage."
