His Father being the one whom he was certain he had been passed the Auto-Immune Disease he had through genetics, being his Son.

But in the end The Old Man got his last laugh...as when the times , the Bad Times after the Big Crash of 2020 happened and Economy Froze up to nothing, His Father was last to go of his Parents.....and he left his Father to his own devices sitting in a chair, asking for a soda pop because he was suffering from low sugar and becoming faint as he himself had blood problems..........and..The Old Man walked away.

Having had buried his Mother the earlier few days hence all by himself as his Father acting sick and unable but could have helped but did nothing, and cared so little about respect, having stayed inside and ate everything else edible in the house.

After that, with the US, collapsing and everything becoming impossible to handle for The Old Man he wandered at first leaving his small town with a small backpack, a couple pocket knifes a machete, clothes on his back and what food was scrounged from abandoned houses along the way, having to dodge looters and scammer wanting to kill and take what little was left from survivors along the roads and alleys still left in the world for travel.

What times he did have fights and have to get out of places fast, The Old Man had some losses such as a finger on his left hand and many scars on his hands and face, but he survived somehow to end up in his first small home for a time.....The Barren Rivers.
