I'm Silicon. I'm not a jewel, I'm a crystalline metalloid.
I'm not as stable as other gems, but I more than make up for it.
In my body, I have high skill with technology. Both gem and human. And I can alter and augment it. My strongest ability is the ability to absorb energy and direct it. Lasers, sunlight, anything energy, but if I let off a powerful blast, I can loose my charge and go inert.
Sadly I'm easily knocked into my inert state. So your best bet for me in a fight is to fuse. Gaining the suffix Silicate.
Fused, I form a energy absorbing armor an the gem, it looks black and mirror like.
Finally, when inert, I can take over any electronic. Gem and human.
Normally I'm highly analytical, new to earth, I'm not good in the ways of humans and will appear cold and disinterested. I left homeworld at the start of the war, not wanting any part of it. And I've floated in space for a long time before crash landing on earth.
Appearance wise, I'm very simple and functional.
My skin is dark grey, neatly black. And I wear a black bodysuit on it with cutouts for ventilation and comfort. I wear a black crest (moehawk) and my eyes glow blue. All over my body run glowing blue lines, the level of radiance I emit shows my energy level.
Finally, my gem; Silicon. It's a polished mirror like black disc. And it's placed in my back.
