You walk down a dark alley.
The walls are narrow, both sides are covered to the sky by
layers and layers of brick.
It seems to be getting darker and darker as you walk more.
The sun disappearing, you feel the wind at the back of your neck.
Bright vivid red eyes glare at you from a distance.
They're looking right at you, almost as if they can see right
through.
The eyes get closer.
You tense up. Shivering. Sweat dripping down your face.
Goosebumps.
Suddenly the darkness fades.
You are relieved, and give out a sigh of comfort.
You feel a pressure on one of your legs.
Looking down you see me.
I am a small black cat rubbing up against your leg gently.
You smile as you go to bend down and pet me, but then stop
in your tracks.
You see it.
My bright vivid red eyes... the same that glared at you earlier.
And what are those on my back?
Bat wings?
You stand up immediately and start backing away.
"Leaving so soon?" says a voice that seems to come from nowhere.
The darkness comes back immediately, as the red eyes that were at
your leg level are suddenly eye level.
"I think not human"
