I never thought the one word
would fall apon my shoulder,
the weight so heavy
almost tipping over,
drained from hearing the word
a couple of times but knowing
it can't be true.
And how dare those shame me
like that pulling me down,
Have they forgotten all I've
done for them?
All my hard work and protection
and loving are not even admired
but pushed aside.... How could
they burn me with the word selfish!?!
Crumbled heart shows sadness
feeling the bites of betrayal
Not easing the pain but releasing
the hatred.....
Bounded by the chains wrapped
around my body knowing this
dark heart that weeps,
soon no longer can't be
tamed....
My tears goes to those
I have to leave behind,
With the bit of control I have
lefted over my life, I have
to free myself and begin a
new one else where....
