Inspiration turned Fiction
I'm bored and interested in writing, that's all the reason and the description that I need for this...
Teacher and Student
Assassins; a class that was frowned upon by the rest of Asmodae. They killed for money. They were the people that stalked others from the shadows. They were the ones that cared little for others, who they killed, or what they stole. They had no respect for the deceased. They were the lowest of the low, as far as the ruling class of Pandaemonium was concerned. Yet, none of this was the real truth.

Yes, they killed people for money. Yes, they were often known to stalk their targets in the shadows. But they cared for their own, and they stole only what they needed. They respected the deceased as much as the next person, except they were tempered by the memories of killing the undead. They had too many run-ins with Spirits of the dead to really care. As far as they were concerned, they were not the lowest of the low. They just lived by their own set of morals.

All of this passed through his mind as he watched his apprentice kill a man in cold blood. The assignment was simple, really. One of the darker individuals from Pandaemonium wanted one of his superiors killed, leaving him to inherit the position left empty by the now deceased man. They had paid in advance, wanting no connection with the pair of Assassins. It was bad for the publicity. Not that the Assassins really cared. Money was money. Who were they to care that they didn't meet the clientele in person?

"We finished here, Crep?" her voice was sweet, sweet as honey.

Crepusculum turned his gaze upon his apprentice; Nyunta. Her eyes danced with passion for her line of work, with the amazement that nobody should associate with the death of an individual, passion that made him want t- ... no, that was neither here, nor now. It was wrong of him to think of his student in such a light, even to his own skewed moral code. "Yes."

The purplette looked at her latest kill. "How much was he worth?"

He recalled the large sum that was paid in Kinah. It was difficult for him to reach, as the payment was kept hidden in the mountains. He had been forced to use his wings to reach the place and had to fight his way through some of the Gargoyle that nested in the area. But was the payment worth the effort or what! The sack of gold was heavy enough to weigh him down in flight, forcing him to glide down the mountainside. Speaking of which, Nyunta was entitled to her own cut of the profits.

His hand dipped into the pouch at his side, drawing out the smaller sack that he'd kept in their for simplicities sake. Inside was several hundred-thousand worths of Kinah, enough to pay for a weeks rent in Pernon. Thankfully for his student, however, she didn't live in a house. As per the agreement they struck when he took her as his apprentice, she was staying in his studio free of charge. Not that he had to pay rent, either. The studio was given to him by one of his clientele as payment.

"Ready to return, Nyun?"

The spell that would let them return to his studio glowed in his right hand, waiting to be cast.

"Yeah."

In a few seconds, the portal appeared in front of them. It was rimmed in gold, weaving in an intricate design. The main portion was blue, pulsating with Magick. His fingers glimpsed the surface and, abruptly, he was embraced by the warm sensation that he usually associated with the Homeward Bound technique. Then his world was engulfed in a dark, oppressing light.

Do in part to his experience with the spell, he was able to maneuver himself to where he was facing his apprentice. She had just entered the portal, closing off the only source of light at their disposal. He was afforded but a slight glance of her beautiful appearance before the light was cut off, causing his vision to swim in darkness.

And then, the portal was reopened and they were unceremoniously dropped on the floor. Or at least, Nyunta was. He was able to catch himself before that happened and landed soundly on his feet. "Awww, don't tell me the portal kicked your a**!"

Nyunta glared at him weakly, unused to using the portal unlike her mentor. He turned away from her and began to rid himself of his usual equipment. The pauldron was left on his desk with the sack of Kinah while the rest was dropped at the foot of his bed. As clean-oriented as he was, he was never that picky right after he'd finished working. After he got a few hours of relaxation he'd be back to clean the studio.

"I'd suggest getting yourself some rest, Nyunta. We're furthering your training tomorrow. You are around the same stage in training as I was when my Mentor taught me the Divine Strike, a powerful technique for any well-taught Assassin." the blunette plopped down on his bed, looking toward his student to see how she was fairing.

For someone that wasn't used to using the Homeward Bound spell as their means of transportation, she was recovering fairly well. Good, that meant she was recovering faster than she used to. Eventually, in the near future, she'd be able to use the spell herself without the disorienting aftereffects. Soon he could let her leave on her own assig- "Are you going to "Divine Strike" me all night, Crep?"

Crepusculum stared. His mind struggled to comprehend just what his student told him. Where was this playful and perverted side of her coming from?! The entire time that she'd spent under his tutelage, she was respectful and thoughtful. He had no way of knowing that she could possibly have this darker side hidden underneath the surface. Maybe she was kidding with him?

Whatever the case, he might as well derive some kind of amusement from this.

"I don't know, think you can handle that sort of punishment?" his right eyebrow arched as he questioned her.

Nyunta blushed at the implications but, true to her personality, refused to back down at this point. That was one of the few reasons that training her was as easy as it was, she didn't give up even when she was presented with a hurdle to overcome. He couldn't even count the amount of times he'd seen her training on the balcony. Way into the early morning at that. It was just insane and nothing at all like the work ethic he had when he was still in-training. "You wanna put me to the test, Teacher?"

By the Shedim, was he blushing!

Crepusculum questioned his next course of action. He wasn't one to associate with the opposite gender, let alone flirting with them. This was the furthest that he'd gotten and he was running on pure instinct by this point. He had started his Assassin training early and therefore had no time for that sort of thing. And now he was paying for it. It was quite obvious that his own student had more experience than him in the subtle ( not so subtle ) art of flirting.

"Why not?"

And with that declaration, the Asmodian knew he had sealed his fate. This thought was only further cemented as he watched his student approach him, hips shaking from side to side with every step...
