xxxxxFor many centuries, men believed they were the only sentient beings on Earth. They used and a bused everything on this planet....but, there are ones that humans are unaware of. No one knows what they are truly called, but many call them shapeshifters. Beings who have no true form; they exist as what they want, but nothing else. these beings have lived, completely disguised, in our society from the beginning of history, influencing us, shaping our future. And now, they have revealed themselves to us. Humanity was shocked. Now, the world is falling apart: people are rebelling, nations separate, and no one trusts anyone anymore. Due to the confusion, some shapeshifters were captured, and experimented on. Now, some of the larger nations possess mutated beings, who do not shapeshift, but control the elements. This was a result of introducing shapeshifter DNA into humans; it caused a mutation no one thought possible. Now the larger nations are using these elementals to control the smaller nations, and gain more power.

xxxxxEastern China now is the greatest nation the world has ever seen; it encompasses nearly the entirety of Asia(Greatest Power). Japan is still it s same size, though it is much more powerful due to the sheer number of elementals they possess(Fourth greatest power). The U.S.A. has been split into three factions: eastern, central, and western. Canada is still Canada, but it also possess Alaska, and is one of the most powerful nations on the planet(Second greatest power). Africa fell apart. there is only one government now, but it is so small, is almost doesn't count. All of South America has united, and become the worlds third greatest power(Third greatest Power). Australia has come together to become the worlds fifth greatest power(Fifth greatest power). All that hasn't been mentioned is in ruins, and is no longer a nation. These areas are called badlands, and named by the areas they were before the Shifter Wars.
