It hurts to know that there was nothing I could've done to help him... Lily-chan is deaf... I couldn't do anything for her either... From what I've gathered Ririn-chan is gone... I don't know where any of my friends are... It's hard... I miss them... I want to do something but I'm unsure of what to do... I can't do anything on my own... I know that now... I just need to find my strength to get back to my old, proud, unafraid self... I beg of you Kami to allow me to regain my strength to help those I care about. I'm broken right now because I am unable to do anything and couldn't help them... Inútil... Muyō... Inutilis... Useless... I'm useless to my friends and family...

Written in neat Hiragana is the name Yamamoto Tsuki Hana. It seemed to be engraved in gold and bound in black leather. There's a buckle on it and a design of vines and two wings on it, also engraved in gold. There is one sentence engraved that is in English. "The words and thoughts of a warrior lie in these pages..."
