The everyday trails and tribulations of your typical, everyday lesbian.
Today is March 9th and I'm angry today. Why? Because I love how when someone sits down behind a computer screen, they are entirely a different person. They feel they can say whatever they want or do whatever they want just because they're behind a computer screen. I'm a 17 year old Lesbian and I have never been bullied in real life for being gay, but the second I log into Gaia I become a target for hateful comments. And the funny part is, half the things these people say, if they had the opportunity to say them to my face in the real world, they wouldn't. They would shy away from it. Why spit hate at me through a computer if you don't really believe that s**t? If you really don't think I'm an abomination, a devil, a disgusting f*****t, etc , why call me it through a computer? No matter what you think of me or my lifestyle, i want people to understand, I'm still a human being, a flawed one, but still a goddamn human. And I have feelings. And for someone to look at me and tell me I'm wrong for loving the person I do simply because of their gender angers me. I can't help being gay anymore than a heterosexual person can help being straight. I didn't wake up one day and go "I think today, I'm going to be a Lesbian." If it's a choice, why do straight people chose to be straight? Why can't you just agree to disagree with me and the way I am? Why do people have to feel it's necessary to belittle me with name calling?
I may be a f*****t, but at least I am a loving f*****t.
