Another Statistic
Don't want to be another statistic
Some kid drugged up on coke.
A victim of abuse.
A fathers hands around his throat.
A guy living off of heroin.
A boy stung up on weed.
The kid that brings the knife to school.
Finishing his deed.
Don't want to be a statistic.
Another kid whose wrong.
A life of pain and agony.
Torment that lasts to long.
Don't want to be a kid
who slits his throat one day.
Just because his life
wasn't going in his way.
These are some statistics.
Lives that I won't lead.
Because I know I won't kill myself
or get high off of some weed.
