Sunday, Sunday.Another anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley.Died waaay before my time.I haven't heard much of his music, but the ones that I have I like.I wish there were more musicians like him in this day and age.I'd trade all the annoying regguetoneros for him.Ugh, I hate reggueton.It's probably one of the things I'm most ashamed of to ever come from my island.It can't even be called music.Hip hop is way better than reggueton and even though I don't like hip hop much, I'd rather listen to that than reggueton.The beat is annoying, the theme is always the damn same, and every song sounds exactly the same.I don't know much about hip hop, but damn it, reggueton, get a different theme.I'm tired of all the "I want to have sex with you", "I shot this guy", "I'm filthy rich and awesome and I'm gonna kill you if you mess with me" and the constant degrading of women.There's enough sexism already and you're certainly not helping.You made me cry once when I had to watch people "perreando" at a friend's birthday party.You just made feel like I was a dog because of that.It's just dry humping with clothes on.So, tahnks, but no thanks.I'll keep Muse, Depeche Mode, The Killers, Coldplay and everyone else any day over you guys.Sorry, got a bit off topic...So, rest in peace, Elvis.You made great music, you did your duty while you were in the military even though they sent you there to try to get rid of you(Go figure...) and you weren't a bad dancer either.Then there's the Behind The Music special on VH1 later tonight.Ricky Martin, ladies and gents.I always liked the guy, even as a kid(one of my few crushes back then) and I may not like him the same way I used to as a kid, I'm still proud of him.So thumbs up to you, Ricky.And your kids...ARE UBER ADORABLE!I JUST WANT TO SQUEEZE THEM!...Ahem, anyways, that is all.
