It has been a week since we visited the tailor in town and since then, it has been the topic of their talk. They talked about it as if it was a completely new thing to them. Such to the point it confused me greatly. The girls had to have gone through town to even reach the manor, and yet here they are talking about it as something new. They had came to me not long after the return from town asking if they could have permission to walk around the town whenever I had business in town. I certainly didn't mind it, but I still had no idea as to who exactly they were and I definitely don't want to attract and unnecessary attention. I agreed to let them, on the request they wear something other than their usual outfits.

I looked up from my papers upon my desk when I heard the study's door slowly creak open. Maya walked in and gave a small bow and came up to the desk. She looked at me and handed a small paper. I looked at the paper and saw it was a check list. Maya is quite organized and tends to create lists whenever the girls do the various tasks in the manor. "Thank you Maya." I gave a glance over the list to see what they have been doing all this time then set the paper down. I don't really care if they actually do the manor cleaning. I certainly didn't mind when I was alone. They are stubborn however and will still do it none the less. "I have something to do in town today. If you and the other would like to tag along, you may." I stood from my desk, organizing my papers before putting them away.
"Of course lord. I'm sure everyone would love to accompany you." She gave another bow.
"Good, have everyone meet me at the front of the manor. I shall be there shortly."

Even though my life seems to have taken a strange turn, I can't forget the work I do. I recently received word from the local gunsmith. He said that my order was complete and also said he had an idea on a new service from his shop. I was skeptical on the 'service' but i packed up my stuff and grabbed my suitcase before heading out. "Why does it feeling like something is going to happen today?"

We reached town and Maya and the other took off around town as I headed straight for the gunsmith. I pushed the door open which in turn rang the small brass bell over the door. "Welcome to McVerin's." A man called out from the small workshop in the back. I closed the door behind me and tapped the counter twice. Almost immediately an elderly man stepped through the worn wooden frame leading from the workshop to the main store.
"Ah Raven. Glad to see you. Your order is ready." Mr. McVerin reaches down behind the counter and brings up a suitcase and sets it upon the glass counter. He soon opens the suitcase and spins it towards me. Inside were several cases of bullets. Special bullets custom built for my expertise. "These were quite the challenge. The Orichalcum and Nano bullets." He smiled and wiped some sweat from his forehead. I inspected the bullets and shortly after tested a few of each. The Orichalcum bullets were able to penetrate any object with easy. The Nano bullets on the other hand were hollowed bullets with nano machines filled inside that would result in some major damage before self destructing leaving absolutely no trace.

"Most Impressive. Now though, what is this service you mentioned?" I closed the case before looking at him.
"Ah yes, I have recently been getting a number of buyers talking about competing figures and organizations. In other words, I was thinking of you become a sort of assassin."
"I see, they come here looking to rid of a pest and you direct them to me. Indeed a most cunning plan and profitable one." I nodded to him in agreement and switched my suitcase with his before leaving out the door and heading back to the car.

I was slowly approaching the car and noticed that the girls weren't around yet. I figured that they hadn't returned from their stroll around town. At least, that is what I thought until I reached the car. The girls were bent over what appears to be two other girls. "What exactly is going on you three?" I called out to them I came around the car. As I reached them the two girls stood up and were almost as tall as me. The two girls were dressed very formally, with dresses. They were also exact opposites of each other, at least in the color scheme of their dress and hair. One was dressed in a creamy white and blue and the other with burnt black and red, but what was the most absurd thing was that they had ears!
"What the hell...?!"
"Nyaaaah!" The dark dressed girl cried.
"Are they....cats!?!"
"Can we keep them?" Karen pleaded give me a sad look. Suddenly the two 'girls' flew over and leaned on either side of Karen giving the same look she was. I was confused and frantic of the situation that I gave a yes before shove them all into the car.
