Here's to hoping that El Reino del Dragón de Oro can be used for the group project in Literary Genres.The other books I have aren't as interesting as that one is for me.Fantasy tends to be my favorite genre when it comes to reading, save for a few exceptions.Books about real life don't grab my attention as much as fantasy does.Peh, back in tenth grade, as every sumer went, we had to pick one of three books to read, then do a project for it.I can't remember one of them, but the two I do were Chicas de Alambre, or Stick Girls, and El Reino del Dragón de Oro, or The Kingdom of the Golden Dragon.Chicas de Alambre was about this reporter investigating the mysterious disappearances of some models and how he discovered that some of them suffered from eating disorders.One of the girls who read it made a comment when she was giving her presentation:

"People should read this book instead of that fantasy novel.This one deals with real life problems!"

Well, I am sorry, but I have no interest in reading about models with eating disorders.I have enough to deal with my mom hassling me about my weight.She has an obsession with youth and being thin.And at that time in my life, I didn't need any more problems(Or situations, as my professor for Human Growth says.She hates the word "problems".I like her).And I enjoyed reading my book, every second of it.I love being pulled into different worlds and tagging along for the ride that the characters go through.If people have to make nasty comments about it, then so be it.I have an imagination that needs to be fed.Hell, I'm studying for animation!Gotta keep this brain of mine going one way or another.
