Update on my new classes.Missed them on Monday and Tuesday due to...stomach circumstances, but went back today.Went to the wrong place to pick up my program, checked the classrooms for each and thought it would go well.Then I found out Algebra was first.I hate math and anything to do with it.I'm no good with formulas.But anyways, ended up in going to the Literary Genres class before I realized I was in room P3-3 instead of P3-1.I wasn't too awake, alright?I took some Benadryl the previous night to make sure I slept the entire time instead of randomly waking up for no reason.I'm an insomniac.Eh, there was talk of movies based on numbers, M&M's, some games involving math, I think...Boring mostly.Have I said how much I hate math?Ok, next class was Human Growth and Social Adaptability, which should otherwise be renamed as "How to be a Better Student" class, because that's what we'll be learning about.Only about...12 or more out of 30 actually came and the profesor talked about it, irresponsibility and inmaturity being the reasons.That's not the freakiest thing though.I rarely pay attention to the tv news in the morning since I'm not a morning person and my mom tends to take the newspaper to work.I get updated on events later.Turns out, as violent as my beloved island is and how dificult it is to not turn paranoid every time you go out anywhere, it just keeps getting worse with the child abuse.A five month old baby girl died after an "accident", as they call it, since the parents refused to take her to the hospital after it happened because they don't have health insurance.It wasn't until the baby started convulsing later that they took her to the hospital.Died once, but the doctors managed to bring her back.It didn't last long...she died later after suffering from three cardiac arrests.A five month old baby, ladies and gents.AND...the parents are in my Human Growth and Social Adaptability class.I AM NOT SHITTING YOU!I'm as shocked about it as my mom was when I told her about it.All this violence going on in my island, it's crazy.Makes me glad I don't go out too much and risk getting killed in a random shooting.
