Specific Breed: Desert Elf; Descendants from past elven refugees due to the first War of Darkness during the Age of Nightfall, desert elves (also known as Nathrezïm) are quite the opposite from the other types of elves encountered in the world. In the desert, elves follow nomadic lifestyles. They herd horses, cattle, and goats across the sands, sleeping during the day and working or traveling at night. Their wandering takes them many places and puts them in contact with many cultures. As a result, they are welcome everywhere for th enews and exotic trade goods they carry. It is quite common that a dwarf relates better to a deser elf than to a high elf, because like the dwarves, desert elves have a rigid code of law, in which truth above all else is highly cherished. Most desert elves shun leaving the desert, but from time to time -at least five in each generation- leave the desert to expand their knowledge and wisdom. Only a few deranged desert elves leave their homes to seek wealth and fame, which is consider nothing more than an "annoying vanity" to the desert elf's society.

Personality: Starling's attitude; something she learned from her own father, being brash and egotistical caused all her men to believe that she's the cockiest s**t ever; due to this very reason some of her own men believe her to be a butch. To herself most of the time Starling has learn from her father, that you can only count on yourself alone. Starling's toughness isn't a act, there is no soft side to this women. Living in the desert you have to be quick & stay alert at all the time. Starling is also courageous & strong-will when it comes to danger for her men & those she watches after. Starling also doesn't have manners what-so-ever, practically curses any chance she gets. She even teaches little ones curse words.
Relations: Desert elves relate better with individuals that dwell in the desert, such as a few human and halfling settlements along the oasis, amazingly enough, desert elves get along fine with desert orcs, which have proved to be more civilized and charitative than their wilder cousins. Sometimes desert elves trade with dwarves exchanging minerals they sometimes gather on the rocky areas of the deserts, for water -which is highly valued by both desert elves and desert orcs-. Desert elves feel that high elves are aloof, ignorant, and have enormous egos, and usually start with the wrong foot with them when trying to socialize with them, but violent events are unheard of.
Lineals: A desert elf can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination, Excellent Hearing, Immunity to magic sleep and effects, enchantment spells and effects, and to natural illusions such as desert mirages.

Background: Kya was born and raised in a small village by both her mother and father. Things seemed quite normal, or so it seemed. Her father, a man of some renown or in some instances notoriety by others; led a group of men and women under the guise that the authorities percieved as 'thieves' or 'brigands.' In reality they were vigilantes, a group of people that protected the poor and needy, who punished the corrupt and evil.
Kya held her father in great esteem, admiring her and even pretended to be something of the sort like him. However one night her pretending went a little too far as she went missing. Her worrying mother went out looking for her 'missing' daughter. In the end, the result was most unfortunate, an event that Kya blamed herself and even to this day continues to do so. Do to this simple fact that she blamed herself saying it was 'her fault,' she finally left the place she called home and eventually formed her own band of 'thieves.'
