"Ari..." Her mother looked so sad....so desolate.
"Ari 'Ane, they've invaded. The Irkens, they....They're after Seraphen." Her miserable face was now twisted into one full of fear.
"By the time you get this, they would have taken over by now. They found out a way to block our voices." Her mother paused, obviously quite shaken. She seemed to wince in fear as heavy, armored footsteps are heard.
"I don't have much time....I don't know what'll happen to us. Most likely be enslaved or dead." All emotion left her face as a grave tone creeped into her voice.
But she forced a loving smile. "I'm glad you left for your research when you did. Be safe."
