Today I celebrated my birthday. It is originally on the twenty-ninth, but since that day isn't on the calendar this year, I celebrate my birthday on February twenty-eighth and March first.
...Every year my birthdays seem to get worse. Last year I was depressed. This year I can't help but feel sadness, too.
Things I got from my birthday, and who gave them to me:
Mom + Dad : Camcorder/Camera, along with a camcorder case.
Grandparents : 100 dollars.
Kim : Ranma 1/2 , books one and three.
Athena : Unknown (As of now)
Ricky : ..A hug. =/ (It was awkward... I'm going to kill Athena for suggesting that to him. I don't like how she told him to hug me. I don't like it.)
The day before my birthday, I found out my dog has a heart murmur. One of her valves has a leak, and water gets into her lungs. It's difficult for her to breathe. She gasps for air a lot. It makes me extremely sad. She went to the vet today. I prayed that she would get better.
She's not.
She's not going to get better.
Eventually, she's going to die. Soon. Probably. Hopefully not. A big part of me will leave with her-- she's been with me ever since I was two.
I'm just sad. Tomorrow we have a contest. It will be over 85 degrees tomorrow. I have to wear my regular clothes and our band uniform over that, which is thick and hot. I won't enjoy my other birth day. I would just blow it off, but I have an important part.
It's just one of those weeks where you want to disappear forever...
