Name: Angelus de Mowbray

Age: 19 (based on his stature, most assume that he's younger)

Title: (if noble) Will inherit the title Duke of Norfolk, currently titled Earl of Arundel

Sexuality: Seemingly uninterested in either

Ability: Angelus has slight ability to manipulate light in various ways. This manifests as being able to make living objects glow dimly for short periods. And also the ability to create short, very bright bursts of light. These are bright enough to temporarily blind anything in the vicinity but not enough to do serious permanent damage to their skin or eyes (bursts caused when extremely panicked might be slightly stronger--possibly enough to cause minor burns due to UV exposure--this is a response to his emotions and not something he controls.)


Profession: Noble

Short Bio: (if you are a noble, you must include what non-human character traits you have and how you derived them) Angelus is the first son of Bernard and Mona de Mowbray, Duke and Duchess of Norfolk. Mona is descended from the faerie nobles of the high Seelie Court, passing those traits down to her child. Angelus has pale, silvery blonde hair (unusual but not unnatural) kept neatly tied back, light grey eyes and a very fair complexion. Rumored to have been an incredibly sickly child, Angelus spent most of his childhood years shut away in Arundel castle in Sussex, not being allowed out much at all.

It wasn’t until recent years that the young man began to first appear in public, his diminished physique causing quite a stir and many rumors. His parents relayed that his childhood illness stunted his growth and resulted in his pale, slight form. However, what he lacks in size is made up for by his reputedly quick and violent temper. Stronger than he looks, Angelus is not one to tangle with—if he is out matched physically, his pistols are more than enough to drive off anyone looking for trouble.

Recently he’s been staying in London and getting to know the other gentlemen there.

****The truth is that “Angelus” is really “Angelica,” a daughter, not a son. It was mostly due to her mother’s fae eccentricity that led the girl to be dressed and postured as a boy. As this gave her more freedom to do as she wished, Angelica did not protest and is fine with keeping up the façade. Rumors around the castle are that his mother’s connection to the Court was deeper she let on and that Angelus sometimes does work for them—but this is just a rumor, of course.
