*pelvic thrust*
After playing the bassoon since November, I've kind of decided that I don't like marching band / bari sax.
I feel like bassoon and the music that comes with it are a real challenge- ie, Vivaldi's concerto in A minor, Mozart's concerto in Bb major... they're HARD. Bari sax has no equivalent. And it's boring.
We're playing Twisted Sister for marching band. Boring as hell. But then we're playing this piece Bonaparte for wind ensemble, which is awesome, and has a great bassoon part. P:
I can't very well not do marching band. It's mandatory as part of the class. But I don't have to like it either. >_>
