OC info :)
You wander into a clearing. Seeing a fire in the distance; you head closer. You smell something wonderful and hear the sound of soft music. As you get closer you can clearly make out two beings sitting on a log near that roaring fire. Wood creating a spit had a few chunks of meat cooking. There was a young adult human male and a young half elf girl. The man was playing a guitar while the girl was singing a happy song. The campsite, if you would call it that, was set up with just the basics. Using the land to their advantage they have blankets spread out for each and even a makeshift table with scattered belongings. The girl must have heard your arrival because you hear a tale of a mysterious stranger weaved into her song. The man gently put down his guitar and stood. He had neck length black wavy hair and bright brown eyes. Stretching he showed his muscles and a soft tan. He seemed tall but under six foot and he was well built. He wore a black half jacket unbuttoned. His pants were loose fitting, and held up by a black and silver belt. You see a sheath on the left side, built for throwing knives. The black boots had silver tips. As he moved, you could see the hilt of a sword strapped to his back on the left side. You insist that you mean them no harm. The girl takes advantage of the new space created by her friend standing, and lay on the log facing you. She was whittling a chunk of wood with a small dagger. "So then stranger, what brings you to these woods?" She asked and blew on the piece of wood. She has long straight golden hair and bright violet eyes. Her fair skin seemed to contrast the unique colorful clothes which fit loosely around her slender body. A red and purple jester's cap with four silver bells tied to each tip. The cap neither obstructed her ears nor eyes, but it did jangle with each bit of movement. The shirt was obviously custom made in a tunic style. A low "v neck" cut laced with a red ribbon. The shirt was purple and the sleeves were split being held together with red ribbon in small silver grommets. On the shoulders, there were small silver buckles so that the sleeves could be removed if desired and in the cut cuffs the ribbon looped into a tight bow. Around her neck was a loose fitted choker - red on one half; purple on the other with a silver ring and a coin floating on thin wiring. The purple mini skirt was split in half. Red ribbons crisscrossing along each thigh held it together yet exposed a pair of tan shorts matching the tan camisole style leather armor top under the tunic. The belt was black and silver with a bright red star. Two sacks, one on each side, swayed seemingly filled with various treasures. A silver clasp connected another ribbon which held a tightly coiled but easily accessible and well taken care of whip. On her left shoulder the hilt of a short sword was sticking out of its scabbard. For shoes, she wore a pair of black ankle boots laced with red string with two bells at the tips on one boot, and purple string also with two silver bells on the other boot. An open sheath for the small dagger was strapped to her right leg and fit snuggly in the boot. The man whispered something to her, and with a child like grin, she rolled off the log and put away the dagger dropping her carving. Then with a clownish cartwheel, she was standing right in front of you. Comparing your height to her, you would guess she was about 5'2". "Hello I am Rätsel and he said I should say hi. HI! I like far away hi's they are fun. You never know just where they will go." She guided you to a stump close to the fire and curtsied. She swayed a bit, acting like she was flying and was looking at the ground while she answered. "Who is he?" She asked repeating your question and glanced behind her as she pointed to the man. "That is he" A short pause and she grinned. "A name? Silly you, ask him yourself. He is not deaf nor is he mute." She giggled and hopped a bit, the bells on her outfit jingled. "So what do you wish to know?" she replied and seemed to be happy to have your attention. "No silly!" She said holding her sides while laughing. "Nonny Maureen said my parents are dead. Papa was a gray elf and mumsy was related to the Baron or so I was told." She started to balance on one leg and was watching a cloud float by. She gave a small giggle to your question and replied, "My Baron, Baron Blake Tripton. He let me live in his castle all those years. It was so much fun! and I've been a jester ever since I was five. Nonny said it was the perfect job for me and the Baron said I was great at amusing all of his guests and friends." She suddenly flipped backwards into a handstand she continued the conversation. "I stayed there until I was thirteen. And he, meaning my friend over there had come late at night and killed my Baron." She finished the flip and began to balance on her toes. She laughed again and shook her head responding, "Well no silly, he wasn't my friend back then. I remember that night well. See there I was waiting at the Baron's door to his room. The guards were busy with something because they were not there. Suddenly I heard a strange noise!" She paused a moment trying to enhance the drama. "What could it be? I wondered. Thinking of many things I decided it would either be a chimera dancing a jig or a beholder singing a ballad. I just had to know what it was so I picked the lock. Creeping into the room I discovered all the lamps were off. Not a speck of light aside from the bright full moon. And there he was... The baron was dead, dead in his bed. Dead cause he bled, bled out in that bed." She giggled quite pleased with the didy she created. "And that is where I found my new friend. What about you? Where do you come from?" She asked hopping from one foot to the other, there was a sigh from the man. He was now sitting back on the log picking up his guitar. "Hey Rätsel why not get some more wood." He suggested. She frowned but nodded skipping off into the woods. Once she was far enough he spoke again. "If you let her, she will talk forever." A pause and he replied. "I am called Jaewon." He took out his guitar again and began to plunk at the strings. He remained quiet, but he did not show any signs of irritation from your presence. After a while Rätsel returned with an armload of small twigs. She was glad that you stayed and insisted you remain there for dinner. Jaewon merely observed you cautiously. See Jaewon was a quiet man, only speaking when he felt it was needed. "Oh! Tomorrow we are taking a new job. Do you want to come with?" Rätsel asked you and quickly she glanced back at Jaewon raising an eyebrow asking the silent question. Jaewon sighed and said with a small shrug, "They could be an amusing diversion in a fight.." Rätsel clasped her hands together. Apparently that was a yes. Rätsel glanced at you and cocked her head looking for your answer.
