This thought/song/poem is devoted to the strength in my life; God, and the love of my life' Auberdee.
I just never understood, you came upon me like a flash
my life went from hell to salvation but it clash
with that which your people spoke I was broke
so torn between love and following your will.
It took leaving and disgracing you to find the truth
The truth they don't see, this silent plea
that it doesn't matter the person nor the sin
you love us all, us all, us all. I was alive again.
I kept stumbling, falling and hurting
I left you both to follow the empty world
Never feeling whole, never feeling at all
Numb and void, unwanted by them and too ashamed to return
I gave up, laid in my waste in trying and was ready to die
Until you returned and showed me forgiveness
This thought coming from both heaven and her.
I loved you both, the Lord my God and the gift he gave me
I ran again but found my way, into his loving embrace and soon to be in hers.
I fought to keep both the world and my own world and found at last
I can't have both.
I don't want both.
I want God.
I want Auberdee.
