Don’t let the dark of backstage scare me.
Enter center stage,
But don’t be noticed by the crowd,

When the lights go up, I can’t be found.
“Now that was silly,”
“Get your head in the game.”
“You missed your light cue,”
“Start over again.”
“Testing, testing, four five six.”
I’m gone.
“Missed again, come back out!”
I’m nowhere to be found.
“Damnit kid! Get back on stage!”
They’ll never find me.
“Don’t make me come back there!”
