Pranks
Rixa was standing by the window, waiting for Roxas to arrive.It would be her first mission paired up with him and she hoped it would go well.Xaldin wasn't exactly the kind of person she enjoyed spending quality time with and maybe she and Roxas could get to know each other better.
"Rixa, sorry I'm late.", Roxas said, running toward her, "I overslept."
"Axel was right.", Rixa joked, "You truly are a zombie."
"Hey!"
"I'm kidding.We should be going.", she said, "Don't want to get Saix mad at us so early in the day."
They both giggled as Saix glared at them.They loved making him mad sometimes, brightening up their day whenever they needed it.Exiting the portal, they arrived at a new world.Roxas had already been there plenty of times before, so he'd be the one leading the mission.
"This place is called Halloween Town.Today is the usual heart collecting.", he said, "Should be easy enough.Be careful with the pumpkins though.They explode if touched."
"Exploding pumpkins...interesting.", she whispered, "Let's head out then."
Walking down the road, it was far too quiet.Roxas explained that the inhabitants were busy preparing for something, so they weren't in any danger of being discovered.He warned her about three kids though, saying that they loved pranking him every time he was around.
"Annoying little kids...", he groaned, "I wish they'd leave me alone already."
"It's because you're an easy target.", she replied, "Tell you what.Let's leave the heart collection for later and get back at those kids."
"But how?"
"Look, first, we need to find a way to make them come to us.", she said, "Then when they're close, we gang up on them!"
"Okay...but, how exactly is ganging up getting back at them?"
"They're always hurling pumpkins at you, right?We're gonna turn it against them.Make them feel what it's like."
"Allright..."
The three kids, Lock, Shock, and Barrel were sitting around, bored with themselves.They had been waiting for the boy to come back, but he hadn't appeared in some time.He had been their preferred victim of choice when it came to their pranks, him being such an easy target.
"I wish he'd get here already.", the boy with the red mask said, "It's too boring without him around."
"Guess it's back to pranking the town again.", the boy with the skeleton masked sighed, "Boring..."
"Oh, quit complaining!", the girl yelled, "Maybe we'll get lucky."
"Sure we will.", the boy with the red mask said, "Like he's gonna appear magically from the sky!"
Out of nowhere, they heard foot steps nearby.They hide behind a tombstone, waiting to see who it was.They began to giggle when they saw that it was the boy again.
"This'll be good.", they whispered.
They suddenly jumped out, pumpkin bombs in hand and threw them at Roxas.He looked at them and dodged right, avoiding the pumpkins.They were surprised that he had managed to dodge them this time and turned to run away.They stopped, seeing that a girl was behind them, her arms crossed.
"Well, well, looks like we got you.", she said, a pumpkin bomb in her hand, "TRICK OR TREAT!"
Rixa hurled the pumpkin bomb straight at them, hitting all three.They landed a few feet away from Roxas, who was laughing out of pure joy.They groaned and stayed on the ground, being in too much pain to stand up.Roxas and Rixa did a high five, leaving them alone to suffer.
"That was awesome, Rixa!"
"It's what I do."
"I never thought I could get back at them."
"That's what I'm here for.", she said, sensing the heartless approaching, "Looks like we got company."
They managed to eliminate every single one without breaking a sweat, collecting the number of hearts they needed.They were pleased with a job well done and headed to the Clock Tower.Xion and Axel were already there, waiting for them.Rixa told them about the prank, making Xion and Axel laugh till they turned red.
