I backed up onto my hind paws and yelled but, instead of a normal yell, a howl came out. I covered my mouth and looked around desprittly. I quickly ran back into the city I was last in and looked at everyone and barked, "Everyone! Help! I've been transformed!" Everyone just became scared. One little boy, about 11 came to me and pet me, "Nice boy. Where'd you come from and why?" I tilted my head slightly and smiled. The little boy seen the book in my mouth and grabbed it, "Being an orphan and all... it's hard y'know?" He continued as he read the book. "That's weird... it's magic. It's Kijori." Then the word Kijori made the book shine again but this time it glowed a bright yellow. The boy yelled as electricity surged out and formed around him. I watched scared out of my mind! The boy fell down and stopped screaming but didn't move. I finally moved and ran to the boy. The boy was very diffrent! The boy's right arm and left leg were gone and replaced with robotic parts! I whined and licked his cold face. He moved a little bit then started to smile. The boy sat up and laughed, "WOW THAT WAS CLOSE!" I smiled in relif as he got up, " You sure you're ok?" I said to the boy. " Yeah I guess. Wait a second... you just talked! I understood you!" I gasped, " You're right! I guess when that book opened up not only you changed, you got powers too!" The boy rubbed the back of his neck, " Oh, I almost forgot! My name's Ren!" I smiled, " Nce to meet ya Ren! I'm Jerome!" Ren smiled and we walked off. Ren went to a store and grabbed some money, " This is all I've got..." Ren bought a leash, food, drinks, and some supplies for the adventures they'll go through. Ren quickly put everything inside his backpack and put the leash on me. I looked at the forest, "Our first adventure... I just know it!"
