Shrouded in black, the mysterious bird creeps to the edge of the sky. It peeps down at the world beneath its feet, shivering a little. A flutter of wings reveals a glowing orange light as it plummets to the ground below, announcing the arrival of dawn. I sit by and drink a cup of black coffee.
Dang.
Today was a heck of a day.

I finally started the adults class in karate on Saturdays (I'm already in the Thursday one), and I'm EXHAUSTED. I'm sore everywhere there is to be sore. And don't make dirty jokes, because I WILL destroy you.

After that, my dad and I went to the New Balance shoe store for insoles.
Then the grocery store.
Then Sam Ash, a music store. I'm starting piano lessons this Monday, so I need a proper stand for my keyboard (it's a Roland, yusssss) and a pedal for extending the notes. My dad looked the stuff up on his phone, though, and decided we're getting it on the internet because it's cheaper. Anyway, it was so much fun in there! I loved the atmosphere. That's definitely my kind of place. I would go back there just to be with those people.
Speaking of my type of people, when I walked into the store with my yoda backpack, the cashier was like "OMG I have that!" I never DREAMED of meeting another person with the same backpack. I figured the people who'd have it were so sparse that I'd never see one (I got it off the interwebs, see), but I did! It was so awesome.
THEN we went to Play It Again Sports, just to look around. We didn't get anything though.
THEN we went to the book store because of that 25 buck gift card for B&N I found in my room while cleaning 8D I got Code Geass vol. 4 (Lelouch's side), Bizenghast 1, and the first three of One Piece.
I'd started reading OP on teh internets, but after the first chapter I decided that I was going to buy it instead because a) I love the art and b) I want to support the artist. It is SO amazing. I LOVE it. OMG. I'm so hyped up on it. It's so freakin' incredible. So awesome. [/rant]
Anyway, I can't wait to go back to the bookstore to get 4-6. cool
And THEN we went to the mall to spend this 50 dollar Aeropostale gift card (my dad calls it Aero-po-STALE, which I think is hilarious. He does it on purpose, of course). I swear, I go with my grandma to get jeans from there and she thinks I'm obsessed with the place. For Christmas she got me a jacket (which is very soft, I might add), a hideous shirt, and the gift card. A jacket on its own is fifty bucks, woman! I love her and everything, but she's always getting me to let her buy stuff. I went off on her one time about how I feel like she feels she needs to buy my love, which I think is totally true. I feel bad about it now, but I think it needed to be said. Anyway, my mom told me soon afterward that my grandma said I'm becoming "difficult". We had a good laugh. My grandma is kinda funny about some things, but I love her.
So, I went and spent the gift card on a pair of 3/4 length jeans, a pretty snow-white scarf, and socks. I got the jeans really light colored because I have lots of dark stuff. I really need more variety!
My dad and I went and had Evos in the mall, which was delicious since I hadn't eaten since breakfast and was exhausted after the grueling (but amazing) karate classes.
Then we finally got home at eight or so xD Eight-to-eight is a long day.

I had a really interesting experience in the kid's karate class today. It's funny because I finally decided to make the switch on Thursday, but Mario (one of the adult students) brought in two girls to try out the kids class. They're thirteen and fifteen. One of the reasons I switched is because the closest kid in the class to my age is like ten.. Ironic?
Anyway, I had a great time. My dad had me stand by them and show them what to do and stuff. It was great. They're very odd, though. They're sisters, and both of them have weird eyes. I'm not being mean, I just think it's really interesting. See, the fifteen-year-old has really small, far-apart eyes. The thirteen-year-old, however, had huge, close-set eyes. I mean, HUGE. It was odd because they're sisters.
But really, they'd be very pretty if it weren't for the eye things. Just that one detail made them kinda ugly. I mean, it was really extreme. Like, wow, distracting extreme. They're very nice, though, and I like them a lot. I wonder if they were glad to know someone that wouldn't make fun of them for that. Is it some sort of condition or something? They talked fine and everything, and they weren't slow or anything. I really want to know if it's just genetics. What do their parents have to look like for them to come out like that? It's interesting to see those two extremes side by side, in the same family no less. I feel bad for them, and I hope they have lots of good friends.
But do they have some sort of disease? It's eating away at me. *Knocks head on wall*

So, I was talking the other day about my afroed, shuterrshade-clad beauty. I decided that she's my OC because she's just so interesting! I want to draw her lots just to get to know her better. I already decided that she's blind. So, really, the shutter shades do nothing.
I want to make her untypical, though, so that people online will be excited to draw her. She lives in a zombie-apocalypse type world (untypical, at least for OCs). She's black (untypical). She's blind (untypical). She has a huge fro (untypical). So, you know, I think she'll be exciting.
Btw, her eyes are just brown. Not that you can see them, because there's a huge scar where her eyes would be.
I need a name for her, so if you guys *coughstevecough* can think something up let me know in a comment C:
You know, I'm sure there's a better word than "untypical" that I can use. I just can't think of it right now.

So, today was one of the best days I've ever had in my life. My dad says it's endorphins from all that exercising. And you know, I REALLY don't mind. Maybe today doesn't seem that great to you, but I really enjoyed it. And if exercising makes me feel like this, I'll have to exercise more often! xD I won't overdo it, I promise. Nor will I start doing drugs.

*dirty joke*

Have you never been in a Sam Ash/Guitar Center before? They're practically the same thing, but I can play in them for hours haha. I'm a huge music nerd though and I love playing with everything.

My reaction to the One Piece part: User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image

One Piece is like my favorite. The character design/art is fantastic and original. Oda, the writer, has a fantastic imagination and creates back stories for everything! It gives all the characters personality and makes the world really feel alive. I won't spoil anything for you, but you're in for one hell of a ride. Where it's at right now is just TOO epic. It should be illegal to be that awesome. It's like each chapter was more epic than the last and you're like there's no way that it can get more epic and then it does and he blows your mind. I dunno how he does it haha.

Difficult? Hehe. That's pretty awesome.

Hah about the eye thing! That's something you'd have to look into. It could just be simple genetic variation and not an actual condition though.

Hah, what an uncommon girl! I like her already. I'll try to think up of a few names and share them with you. Nothing comes to mind at the moment though.

I know how it is to have amazing days that may not seem amazing to others but were really awesome to you. It's cool though, it's always good to see people happy. And yeah, exercise gets you high in a good way.
