Rixa's Dissappearance
"Axel, I told you to keep her out of trouble.Now she's dissappeared again.", Saix yelled, "She's more trouble than she's worth."
"I'll go look for her then.", Axel replied, trying to calm Saix down, "I may know where she could be."
"The fatser you find her, the better.", Saix said, "She can't shirk her duties just because she's in recovery."
Axel turned to leave, tired of having to listen to Saix.He was getting on his nerves these days.Saix had definitely changed.He wasn't the same person he knew back then.Now he cared more for the Organization and what was best for it, uncaring about anything else.He was especially rough on Roxas, Xion and Rixa, and it didn't escape Axel's watch.But now, he had to focus on finding Rixa.She hadn't spoken to anyone in days since she went out on her last mission and he knew something had to be wrong.As he exited the portal and entered Twilight Town, he inmediately realized the only place she could possibly be.He headed toward the Clock Tower and stopped when he reached the station, looking upward and seeing Rixa sitting, watching the sky.She held her knees close to her face, a sad look in her eyes.He scratched the back of his head and went toward the ara where Rixa was sitting.
"Found you.You can't hide easily from me, Lil Sis.", he said, sitting down at his usual spot, "You've had us worried with the silent treatment.Did something bad happen during your last mission?"
Rixa continued to sit in silence, not lifting her face to meet Axel's gaze.He grew more worried about her and scooched to be closer to her.He wrapped his left arm over her shoulders and slightly kissed her forehead.Rixa looked up at him in surprise and began to speak.
"I just...don't know if I should tell you guys what happened.", she said, "It was so strange and it won't stop bothering me."
"What, did a heartless get the better of you?", he joked, "It can happen to anyone, even me."
"No, it was something else.", she whispered, loweing her head, "I...ran into Riku again."
"Again?What happened?", he asked, "Did he hurt you?"
"No, we just talked.", she kept whispering, keeping her voice low, "After I attacked him, we just talked.I can't explain why, but when I'm with him, I feel so...comfortable.Like I'm exactly where I belong."
"Rixa, we're Nobodies.We can't feel.", he answered, "We have no hearts to begin with."
"I don't care what anyone says.I feel!", she yelled, "And what I felt was real!"
"Okay, okay, so you felt comfortable with him.", he replied, "What else happened?"
"He...he showed me something.", she whispered, returning to her low voice, "Something you wouldn't believe until you saw it."
"What?Did he get naked or something?", he joked, "Flirt with you?"
"No!He...took off his blindfold and he...he...", she said, clearing her throat, "He changed into a man that looked a lot like Xemnas."
"What?How is that possible?", he asked, "That can't be!"
"How should I know?", she yelled, "It just happened!But that wasn't the strangest thing."
"Oh?What was it then?"
"When he showed me that, I took his blindfold and put it back on.It was like I was being controlled by somebody else entirely, like I wasn't me.", she whispered, "My body wouldn't listen and my arms wrapped around him, hugging him.He even put his arms on me, right on my head and left on my back, like he was trying to return my affection.And out of nowhere, I said something I never would say."
"And what was that?"
"I know what's it like to feel alone and have no one by your side."
"Rixa, could your memory...be coming back?"
"I don't know.I ran off after I said that and I met up with you guys at the Clock Tower."
"Look, even if I don't completely understand everything, know this.You are you, no matter what happens."
"But what if I change?What if getting my memories back make me turn into a comepltely different person?"
"That'll never happen, because I, Roxas and Xion will make sure it never does.You will always be my Lil Sis, Rixa."
Axel hugged her and kissed her forehead again, to reassured her that nothing would ever make her change and that she'd stay the same.She huddled closer to him as they watched the clouds pass by.They heard yelling coming from below them and when they looked down, they saw Roxas and Xion waving at them.
"You guys are too early!Come down from there!"
"Looks like we better go with them.Any time you need to talk, you can count on me.Okay?No more sulking around, Miss Gloom!"
"Axel!"
