Since that last day, as you and I together,
That last moment we spent,
Where love brought our hearts to bond,
Hand in hand as we spent this time,
To share those worries without no shame,
Her words of comfort, full of grace,
Brought me to stand as strong as man,
When tears brought to her eyes,
Stroke my lyre with such passion,
That music brings pleasure to her face,
Where, her smile of delight,
Brings us joy and laughter,
Yet, that next day, when about to confess,
I see tears, that never did stop,
With her parents now at rest,
Where she herself blamed,
She began to change,
I never saw her again,
Now this world so empty,
Love’s fragile, cracked in pieces,
No purpose to this life, I take my plight,
Amidst in the darkness,
Where life does not exist,
Nothing shall see me nor hear me again.
