I have piano, and I have not practiced in, um, forever, or somewhere along those lines.

I only hope the Christmas present I gave my teacher makes up for that...
The woman doesn't strike me as the kind to be particularly observant or down to earth. At all. But she always, always knows whether I have practiced or not.
And I'm playing Für Elise, too. P: I'm doing good I guess. I have like three pages of it down, right hand alone... and that's pretty good, considering that she basically just told me to try the first page.
I'm also worrying over the state of my bassoon playing when I get back to school. xD I didn't bring the damn thing home because it was too much of a hassle- my dad hates me leaving it sitting around and also doesn't like the noise (though my mom thinks it's cool and doesn't mind) so I just didn't want to deal with it.
Ahgoddd. first day back is going to be interesting, in wind ensemble.
