Sure, the song is depressing (well to others, not really to me) but thinking about it...when people ask "How are you?" I usually say some positive thing with a smile, whether I am or not. Only people I do not do that to is Macky, Tasha, Guil and my mother .___. I do it because I love you! (To the people I just smile to) Well, I try not to be vain and vile, on the outside at least...
as for the "everything is yours to steal/you can make the world kneel" part, I'd like to believe that indeed I can. I do get away with quite a bit due to my reputation, I guess. (I'd say due to my smile, but that sounds dumb and untrue.) Ah yes, and I cannot help but smile at that last lil line there. :3
