My NaNo-WriMo Story (So far)
Chapter 1 : The Death

The sticky crimson liquid surrounded me as I lay, quaking with pain as I awaited the over forever slumber.I stared into the black nothingness, held by the ragged black cloak that flowed down. A grimy skeletal hand stretched out to my face, caressing my cheek. The smell of the dried blood made me nauseated, reminding me of what got me here in the first place. As I awaited the hands to carry onward, to its home of other side, I couldn't help but shiver thinking of the past experiences in my life. The people I knew will soon be gone: my family, those few friends, that one woman...

An undying passion, a lust even, to once again see these beloved ones burned at the back of his mind. This withdrew what was left of the little amount of his energy. How could he think of such things as he lay dying? How could the antagonizing pain seemed to have left his mind? His mind then drew to this question as he withered off, Death creeping closer to him by the second.

He knew his captors were watching. He could hear their snickers as he faded into oblivion. He wanted to give them a show, almost as to give life a run for its money while he still had the chance. With the last of his energy, he shot both hands up with a blood curdling scream of agony as he gave them a certain salute.

The atmosphere in the viewing room changed dramatically. He knew their taunting laughter stopped. The change from joyous victory to appalled whispers and glares. He could feel the burning of these glares on his self, which he kind of enjoyed. He couldn't bear to hold back the amusement it gave him. He roared with laughter for a brief period. Just as he was cackling blood spluttered out of his wound, quickly seizing that laughter into hacking for air. Just before he caught his last breath, a shimmering light consumed him, wiping his mind of everything.

Chapter 2: The lover

He sat in a familiar place. Being able to sit like so was strange, for he hadn't been upright for what seemed to be ages. He was confused and terrified, completely unaware of what had happened. The room was dark, but not complete blackness. The slick stone floor glimmered a gritty emerald floor in the little light that shone. The sweat he was creating from nerves made the air even staler and more pungent. He began to slowly rise off his knees, pushing with his arms to help the tired and fatigued body up.

As he stood, he was blinded by sudden bright lights. He covered his face, wincing like a small abused child. He adjusted to the light, to see something that made him sick.A women was strapped to a table, only able to move her head from side to side.Due to fatigue, he couldn't recognize the woman. Once she pleaded for someone to help, it struck him. It was his dear _______. He screamed her name and pounded on the glass plane. The attracted her attention, her head immediately turning towards his direction. She howled out for him, wailing for her "sweet Roderigo!" to come save her.

Unfortunate for them, this awoken the beasts that prowled along. The vampires crawled on the ceiling towards her, dropping down one by one. They landed on their feet, as if they were a professional circus performing acrobatic displays. The shrieking stopped from both sides of the glass all at once. A stale and hostile silence took the two humans by hold. All that was to be heard was the growling amongst the vampires as they wordlessly decided who got what part with low and hateful grunts.

The screaming came back from the woman once again as the vampires pounded against her skin. It was as if they were tenderizing the meat before they sank in to the feast. Bruises almost immediately started forming, giving delightful pockets of blood for the hungry beasts to get a lazy start to the feasting session. All at once they bit in, draining her of the oh so needed blood. What could a man do to react? he stared blankly in horror, unable to think of a way to help. Nauseating from disgust and agony sunk in, causing him to crash to the floor. He was instantly numbed, almost unable to hear the scream of terror from the other side.

He passed out, escaping the terrors of awaken-ness. The black slumber gave peace to him. He wasn't comfortable, but anything must be better than watching your love die, or even just hearing it die. How could he, coward in his black abyss of his mind like so. Why couldn't he face what was around him? Shouldn't any good assassin be able to deal with death? Ah, but at least with assassination its painless because your victim cannot see you. Slow painful knowing death was different...he thought. Maybe it was in all reality that he too was a beast. Maybe these feared vampires were really just like him. Or maybe is it really that he is normal, and so are they?

Chapter 3: The After-Effect

These thoughts ached at the back of his mind as he rose from his fall to the ground. When he stood up, he realized the room are different. Where he was became a mystery to him for a short while. The lights were completely gone, and he couldn't see anything. This caused a paralyzing fear to overcome him. He sank to the floor, as if standing in darkness was a crime. In his fear, he twitched in place. He mind ran hysterically about what had happened. Even though his vision was blurred and blacked, he stared around wildly.

He ached with pain. His limbs were roaring with anguish. His mind screamed at him, it shrieked with anger for not helping her. She was his one love! His sweet _________ died and he didn't do a damn thing! It was all his fault and he knew it. He was a murderer. But this, this was a known fact. He was a paid one before, but it seems that when the pay-check left, it was horrifying. This thought burned a whole in his mind, in his soul!

But then it struck him like a brick. He was supposed to react like so. He immediately calmed himself, not meaning to be suttle. He smiled, hoping they saw. Even though it hurt to do so, he chuckled slightly. Slowly escalating, it went from a small chuckle to a hysterical laughter. At first it may of been to throw the captors off guard, but now he had found a way out.

Chapter 4: The Escape

[Note: The ______ means There's supposed to be a name there, but I can't think of one. Also, this is going to be daily until the end of November.<3]
