The Tears, My Tears
My tears fell coldly from my eyes, onto my hot cheeks to cool them. Sadness caused my heart to implode, then suddenly explode and have nothing within the ribs, the chest beneath my skin, the skin that held cuts from a blade, a cold blade that was connected to a hilt which was held in my hand for an hour at a time. The sadness that cause the chain of events was caused from a simple statement, and easy statement, a cold, cruel statement. "He's Dead."
Have you ever had a feeling, where you thought you were dead, but weren't sure? I did. I heard that the love of my life was dead...and everything stopped. I heard nothing, saw nothing...I was...Nothing...Have you ever had a pain, where it just seemed like your body wasn't even there anymore? It was either in the depths of hell, or somewhere far worse? I did...its when I sent a blade solemnly over my skin, the cold blade matching a cold heart not ready to let go of the love, the love that kept a simple girl alive. The love that kept her heartbeating, the love that kept her confused, but also sane at the same time.
The same night, she found out that her love was alive. The wounds healed, everything seemed okay now. Her love was alive, and stable.
The next day, the girl got onto the computer, and he was there. He apologized. Said it wouldn't happen again. The sadness become over come with happiness, and love. The imploded heart blew up to where it had been when he had called it his. And it will always be his. He told the girl he loved her, and always would. And she knew it was right. And forever, she would always love him.
