I enjoy the Playstation. Yes, I play video games, and according to some specialists and lawyers, that makes me a danger to soceity. But anyone who's known me for more that 5 minutes knows that while that is true twisted , video games have nothing to do with it.

Anyway, a favorite series of mine is the Metal Gear Solid series. With with the possbile epic final* Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots delievers on so many levels it's not even funny. I put the astriesk their because it is possible for them to do a Metal Gear Solid 5. But the project lead (Hojima Komia I think, I can never remember) has publically annoucned that this was Snake's (the main character) last game. That he does intend to contiune, but with new characters, and a new plot. So basically, a Metal Gear Solid 5 would be so radically different in story plot, that it might as well be a new series; to which I'd welcome with open arms and would play whole heartedly.

Anyway, the purpose of this post was to annouce that I had found the soundtrack to only Metal Gear Solid 4, but the previous intstallments as well. The musical scores in these games really brings out the cinemic feel to them, and truely brings the game alive. And as games like MGS 4 go into history, more and more game developers are realising the importance of hiring bigger names in the music industry to come up with their soundtracks. So all in all, we should be getting better sound for our video games.
