Zanpakuto Spirit's History: Hikari Kurai was half human half god, he had been blessed with both a gift and a curse. He was given the ability of ultimate strength unfortunately he was though by all to be a monster. he was an outcast accepted by neither the gods, nor the humans. to prove that he was worthy and to try and find his way back to the realm of the gods, he faced many trials that he succeeded in. Facing pearls that many would not dare to try, he accomplished them all, and at the end when he was finished with his trials he was granted permission to be a god again. However one such god did not want this beast to return, for fear of losing his title as the God of war to him. so he tricked the warrior in to killing his own family. Once done the gods renounced him and cast him aside. the warrior was to to forever live in loneliness....

Shikai Ability:The blade itself simply takes a much longer form making it so that way it has reach and it makes it appear as though he can create clones of himself but most people don't realize his true ability because of dying before they get a chance to discover the truth. in this state Talon is able to control light you could say although most of his abilities simply have to do with just refracting light to alter perception.
Attacks:
1. Refraction:
this attack allows Talon to refract the light around him without the use of a prism(or rather his Reiatsu is the prism.) to the point of being able to affect others perception. Usiing this ability Talon will often use the altered perception to create illusions of himself to attack his foes. however he can create what ever illusion he so desires, he is just used to creating illusions of himself.
2. Light Sworn Sword: this allows Talon to make physical swords out of light giving him an unlimited supply of weapons if he needs to.
3. Nightshade: This ability uses his refraction ability but on a much more controlled basis. instead of concentrating on refracting the light away from himself, he simply changes the Reiatsu around his body so that it acts like a prism that blocks out all light going to him or rather instead of block redirect. making perfectly invisible. this is more effective at night because of the the less light. however it still can be used during the day, just it take allot more energy to use it during the day than it does at night.

Biography:
Biography Before Death: Talon before he died was a practitioner of bushido and actually a teacher of it as well. he was very strict on his students and many of the ones who refused to obey him were sent away. Most of them just left in a fury and then moved on with their life. Others tried to kill him. many of them challenged him to a straight forward attack and all of them died.
That is until one day he was sipping his tea and he noticed that he felt really strange. setting his cup of tea down he stood up where he was met by one of his former student who apparently was still bitter having been rejected for not doing as he had said. having to accept the challenge the two of them fought, Talon having the upper hand until the poison that had been spiked into his drink started to take effect. It was then that the student took advantage of the situation and stabbed talon through the heart killing him almost instantly...
Biography After Death:
Talon after death had no memory of what had happened to him while he was living, he remained chained to his dojo for about a year before he was finally found by a wandering shinigami who forced him to pass over.
once in the soul society he continued his practicing of the sword arts, he even opened up a dojo again. He had allot fewer students this time and all of them seemed to want to learn, it wasn't long afterwords that the soul society had heard of his abilities and his master swordsmanship. they sought him out thinking that he might be a good addition to one of the squads...
Soul Reaper Academy:
Talon had decided to join for it could possibly further his skills in battle, plus he was one to seek knowledge. as he went through the soul reaper academy he spent most of his time training and working with his soul reaper abilities. after he had mastered the shikai state of hi powers he started to move on to his soul reaper abilities. over time he worked on and slowly came to be known as a Shunpo master. at this point he had managed to work his way up through the ranks and was a lieutenant who could keep up with the fasts of captains. it was then that he turned his attention to Kidou, he didn't get a chance to master kidou but he did manage to learn allot of it. through skill alone Talon had made it up to the status of a captain, however his findings didn't stop there, he worked with the research and development to try and figure out a way to make soul reapers more powerful, it was then that they started doing tests mainly on himself...
Hollofication:
during one of the research experiments Talon was trying a new way to become more powerful, the research and development dept. had figured out a way to force Hollofication but they were unsure of it's effects on the soul that it happened to so they hadn't tested it up to this point. putting him through the pain staking event that was his hollofiction he became a vizard however the adverse effects that took place were that he had amnesia and could not remember anything, when he had awoken he freaked and trashed the entire complex before fleeing to the word of the living...
