IBRAAR HUSSAIN JOURNAL
Hey, look at that. A fancy new 'About Me' section, that actually tells you something about me. Crazy, isn't it?

I've been on Gaia since sometime in '07, I don't really remember exactly when I joined. I've gone through a few profiles since then, abandoning them for one reason or another. This one looks like it'll become the permanent main.
Besides that, I'm a Boy aged Eighteen years, and I live in the grand state of Wisconsin, where the Summers are cold, the Springs are cold, the Winters are cold, and the Autumns are, guess what, cold. Not complaining about that though, I rather well enjoy the cold climate. If it were my choice, I'd leave the heater off in my house, and probably even leave all of the windows open during Winter and Autumn.
I didn't do too good during my last year of High School, so the prospects of me going to College look pretty bleak right now. I might sometime in the future, who knows? If I do, I'll probably try and get into something in the realms of Computer Programming or Writing.
As far as faith, sexual orientation, and all of that goes, I consider myself mainly Bisexual (I'd put myself right around a 2 on the Kinsey Scale), and I don't have a religion (not Atheistic by any means, but my beliefs don't very well match any religion that I know of).

But that doesn't tell you all that much about me, does it? Here's some more to give you a better picture of who I am. In real life, I'm not all that social of a person. I hate being at parties, because more often than not, there are people that I don't know, more by far than there are people that I do, and those that I do usually go off and talk to those that I don't, leaving me to stand around, feeling really awkward, not too sure what to do. I'm not the best of conversationalists, so I have a pretty hard time striking up a conversation with any random person that I see, so that doesn't help a whole lot. When people ask me about myself, I have a really hard time figuring out what to say. I hate it when people just ask me to tell them about myself, and don't ask anything specific about what they would like to know, I just can't figure out what to say to them, and more often than not I might just freeze up and not say a single thing. I need to watch myself here, I'm using too many commas. I'd like to think that I don't, but I make pretty quick assumptions about people based on how they look, how they talk (and about what), and I tend not to drop those assumptions. I hate getting into arguments with really just about anyone, my friends especially. A lot of my friends hold opinions that I don't agree with even in the least, and I don't like to cause any kind of strife between us. Besides that, though, I hold my own opinions very highly, I try not to let my friends (or anyone, for that matter) swing my beliefs. Anyways, on Gaia, I'm happy to talk to other people, and I really don't mind getting comments out of nowhere from people. It annoys me a bit, I'll admit, that I usually seem to be the one to ask questions of other people in conversations on here, and almost never the other way around. I begin to feel like I'm taking without giving at all.

Well, that might give you a better idea about who I am. Still think that I used too many commas in that. Anyways, how about I now get into some of my interests?
I took a film class back in High School, so I like to pretend that I can distinguish bad movies from good ones, and just plain bad movies from movies that are bad enough to become funny. Some of the movies that I love dearly are Ghost in the Shell (as well as the sequel, Innocence), the Illusionist, and Appleseed.
I do like to sit down and read some manga every once in a while. Some of those that I like quite a bit are JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Detective Conan, Bleach, and Holyland. For series that I absolutely hate, that list is mostly limited to Soul Eater. Nothing stands out in my mind quite so much as that for things that I just plain can't find anything good in.
As far as Anime series go, I love Mobile Fighter G Gundam, regardless of how silly it might be. Others that I liked are Kino no Tabi, Ergo Proxy, and Fighting Beauty Wulong.
I don't read as many books as I would like to right now. One that I'm getting through, albeit very slowly, is Shogun, a book that I got about 3/4 of the way through around a year and a half ago, and just stopped. Other things that I plan to try and read in the near future are Tyson's Necronomicon (short, when I do get around to it, it shouldn't take too long), the Tommyknockers (I plan to re-read it come Autumn), and It, probably right after I get done with the Tommyknockers.
Books that I've already read and enjoyed greatly include Much Ado About Nothing, the Tommyknockers, the Stand, Eaters of the Dead, and the War of the Ancients Archive.
I realize that I haven't said anything about video games yet, so I'll finish off with that. My favorite one of all time, beyond all others, is Final Fantasy VI. Others that I like are Age of Empires III (Asian Dynasties), and Starcraft. I really don't play many console video games, come to think of it.

Well, that's about it for the About Me section. Certainly more than there was before. If you want to know anything else about me, or just want to talk to me, feel free to send me a comment or PM. If you do choose PM though, please include a subject. I delete PMs without subject lines. Nothing personal.
