Footsteps echoed through the halls as red shadows appeared and disappeared spasmodically, dancing in the non-existent lighting of the black flames among the torches. A slim, feminine being walks across the hall of multitudes of weapons; from blades to maces, to shields and whips, it was a gallery of tools of chaos. The individual simply passed them by; instead observing the violet moon in the velvet black sky surrounded by crimson stars, from the glass windows weaved with thorns and webs of what looked like blood.

She tears her hidden head away form the view and continues long the next hallway, aligned with obsidian statues; to be more precise, gargoyles, warriors and demons depicting fear and dread as the female passed by. She looked among specific beings that did not flinch in her presence; a Darknut-like warrior, dynamic sword and shield in hand and spiked armor, bowing down in respect in her direction, which she did the same.

The next; she patted its head to, as if seeing an old friend, having the appearance of a giant iron serpentine dragon and snorting in response, though no plumes of smoke emerged from its nostrils.

She was interrupted by a massive clawed hand touching her shoulder, but she reacted with a chuckle as she turned to another cloaked being, but much larger and taller than her; a male physique that would make many normal a man to run in fear and most likely able to take on a pair of Gorons, maybe even more, single handedly.

“So you heard his call too?” asked the female with anticipation in her voice.

The massive being simply nodded his head in agreement as he looked towards the door at the end of the hall.

“Alright…might as well go now. He seemed…much more in high spirits now when he needed us” The female sighed as the two started walking to a large pair of double doors. It appeared much different; created out of what seemed like stone and iron, black inky tendrils surrounded the large spiked lock at the center, where a giant skull took the place of a keyhole, a 4 pairs of bony hands sustaining the door. Screams of agony and pain came from the other side, as it has been for the last 23 hours, with occasional sounds of splattering and whip cracks, metal clashing against flesh.

The giant simply crossed his arms as the door suddenly started humming, the tendrils unwrapping themselves around the skull and the hands each opening a sector of the door, until it was completely open. The two entered the corpse-ridden room, blood splattering the walls as a hidden creature sat upon a tall throne; intricate designs plaster the walls through the caked blood and mantels with heads of unfamiliar creatures, their expressions that of wrath and greed.

Sitting upon the throne, a nebulous being in a blood-stained cloak twiddles his non-existent fingers, holding a mutilated arm, as he observes the squirming body before him; missing all limbs but the head, convulsing and bleeding as its entrails are scattered around him, his jaw ripped and detached, his tongue like a fish out of water, his disfigured skull reveals his head empty of a brain; many stab marks and slashes scar his chest and torso, his rib cage torn open revealing its inner organs intact and heart beating hastily out of trepidation.

“Ahhh, just in time”, the being started, his voice deep and profound as he threw the arm away; “You two are just about to see a new creature born out of my dying guest…”

The second he ended his sentence, a large claw protruded out of the squirming man’s heart, another clawing his was through his organs. An animal-like skull bashed through the humans head, a deafening screech resonating out in the room. The rest of it came out slowly with dark colored skin, enveloped in blood, and had the waist down, that of what seemed like, a Twili messenger, only completely crimson with an armored tail, as well as bony wings, only inky black webs filling in the gaps. A closer look at its head, it had the animal skull acting like a mask, for it had no face; just a black area with one small green orb acting as an eye.

“Welcome to the family…Krozhkei.” (It’s pronounced Krozh-kay)

The new being simply bowed at the man’s feet as the remains of the body decayed, leaving only a bloody smear on the ground. The other two who were observing bowed in respect to the one on the throne, and towards ‘Krozhkei’, in honor.

“My, my…you must have discovered something if you are happy enough to add a new family member to our kin…” The female giggled as she still bowed down.

“Rise”

All who bowed rose, the one on the throne standing as well as his cloak billowed, nothing tangible seeming to be in it.

“The reason that I am in such a good mood is…” it did a dramatic pause as he chortled under his breath;

“The time has come.”

The colossal male’s eyes suddenly burned hot-white with satisfaction as he heard those words, the female by her side gasping in surprise, and the new member merely standing there.

“Yes…after all these years”, the being continued; “…the timing of such events have occurred in such flawlessness, and the current Hero has been found. We will be able to avenge our ancestors, and revive the glory and power they demonstrated as the true deities of the realms!!” Raising his ‘arms’ up in the air, he let loose a menacing laugh that made the world seem still yet vibrating under the force, echoing outwards into the hellish sky and land, barren and desolate of any true life.

“It will all…be…ours….” The words whispered in the bitter wind of darkness.

“I wish not to disturb this moment, my liege, but…”

“What is it now Golizath?!” the was-laughing-manically being yelled at full force at the gargantuan for interrupting his moment, creating a wind powerful enough to shatter his 12 inch thick windows instantly, though they easily repaired themselves.

“What is the plan, sir? You called us here to most likely tell us of it, and, as your familiars, complete and succeed in the objectives.” Golizath (pronunciation; Gol-i-zoth) stood his ground as he barely moved an inch from the impact.

“Aahhh…yes…Forgive me then, for my rude outburst.” The shadow regained his composure, taking a seat again as he put his ‘hands’ together; “Well, we have to strike in two areas at different times; that should be easy now ey? Best way to start a war…”
