Imprisoned, But Not For Long!
I sat there, in that small, cramped room, gazing at the door. I was ready to sprint out at the moment it opened. I sat there for hours, wondering if I was going to be tortured to death or starve. About 3 hours into my abduction, the door handle turned. I stood up. The leader walked in, and, as if he knew what I was thinking, closed the door.
"Hello, Kayla. I am Derek, Leader of the Talri Mages. You must be wondering why we brought you here. Well, I will explain that now." He had a deep voice, and beautiful green eyes just like mine. "In the Inn, you were in grave danger." He explained, "The danger was being captured by Dakurian Preists, which are holy priests with a dark side: They kill people with powers like you. We rescued you, in a way. We need your powers to help us defeat the Dakurian Preists."
"If the priests are following Dakur and they're your enimies, who do YOU follow?" I asked. Dakur was the God of Life, Zania was the Godess of Evil, and Garth was the God of Balance. There were 5 other Gods and Godesses, Including the Godess of Nature, the God of War, the Godess of Weather, the God of Death, and the Godess of The Elements.
"We follow Zania." Replied the leader. I almost screamed. I had been 'rescued' by Evil Zanian Mages!!!!
That's when I discovered another power of mine. I wished that I could make it look like I was still sitting there and talking to him, but be running away. I consentrated, and began to move away. Then I made him hear my voice. My plan worked perfectly. I opened the door, went out, then locked him in. As I went thought the halls, I made people see the wall and not me. I climbed up some stairs and out into the open.
"Ah, fresh air!" I whispered to myself. Then I remembered I wasn't safe. I ran into Valamere, desparate for a hiding place.
