Faeries Moon's Tome of Gaia
Faeries Moon's words of wisdom (but mostly just insane ramblings) on life, spirituality, and everything inbetween. Beware of the dragons, faeries, and other mystical beings that dwell within...they sometimes bite...
"Year One" review
One thing you'll quickly notice about me is that I have VERY ecclectic tastes in movies. That being said, my friend and I decided to hit up a matinee yesterday at one of the local movie theaters to see "Year One". I really wanted to see this movie. The trailers were all amusing, and I love Jack Black, so all the more reason to go.

Don't worry if you get to the movies a little late. The trailers that they show before the movie are far from exciting (seriously, they're making yet ANOTHER Final Destination movie...does anyone still actually go to the movies to see those? I didn't even like the first one). The plot of the movie, of course, wasn't all that great. But I pretty much expected that going into it. It's a really enjoyable movie if you're looking for something fluffy and silly to watch. Be warned: some of the jokes might be lost on you if you aren't at least passingly familiar with the more well-known Old Testament stories in the Bible.

On that note, I don't recommend this movie if you're one of those "Super Christians" that get offended easily by people poking fun at the bible. Because they poke fun at it. A lot. Otherwise, I definitely recommend the movie to those that are looking for something light-hearted and fun to break up the intense drama and action of this summer's blockbusters.
