Midnight comes to its silent present
finding the hidden path into the night
we are lost without guide
to the chance of ever coming home again
we see the shadows dance and play
hearing voices along the way
were not alone as we walk the path
our heartbeats rise with the passing seconds
we stare out into the starless sky
and be consumed in darkness..
