Thesis: Physical geography affected agriculture and civilizations because of resources, the suitable technology for that area, and location.

Supporting paragraphs: (1) Agriculture would differ between different areas, with different resources that people depended on.

(2) The way civilizations lived (their tools, type of shelter, food) depended on their location and geography.

(3) Location affected agriculture because of climate and the environment. It affected civilization because of geographical barriers such as mountains and deserts. They acted as shields from enemy nations. Also, the location would affect the type of technology that people would have used.
