Broken Stars
The stars whisper to me of secret hopes. I stand frozen, enraptured by the lilting melody of their speech as the cry out, longing to be fulfilled. Their light has captured many a wayward dream, and our wonder never ceases once we wish upon a star. Perhaps each star is a shining bundle of forgotten hopes. NO! A cloud, a veil of tears, steals over my beloved memories of treasured times. I cry out in terror, let me see the stars! For my destiny is to fly among those crystal blossoms of light. Suddenly, I see, I feel the curtain of sorrow part.Finally I can see the midnight wings of fate beckoning. I must resolve the mysteries of the broken stars to find peace.
