I had an absolutely wonderful birthday weekend.
I got spoiled rotten by everybody. Esp. Dan. *Huge Grin*
Let's see... Friday night we got pizza... Saturday Mom took me out jeans shopping for a size 22 jean and they FIT!! I'm so excited about that. My weight-loss is a bit stalled out due to the last couple of weekends, but apparently I’ve been losing some inches and I haven’t gained anything… I’m grateful, but a bit baffled… Guess despite eating like crap for almost a week I was pretty busy for a lot of it… Well, last week I was uber lazy Tues-Thurs, so hoping this week will be better. Then Mom and Dad had us out. I got a few books (Coraline, a Salvador Dali collection, and a John Lennon book…) Mom got me the jeans and some dish towels and cloths for the kitchen. S.C. also got me this poster with a London scene on it that I love. And we got to drink beer and they fixed us… TACOS. Yay! Present number one from Dan was not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Gaia thank-you-letters for April. Present number two was a really fancy digital kitchen scale… (Which we have to return, actually… It isn’t working) sad But I’ll get another one. Present number three was… A PS2!! WHOOT!! I’ve wanted one for a couple of years, now. I’m excited. We only have one game for it, so far, (A LOTR role-playing type game… I love RPG’s.) I’m having to learn/get used to how to use the darn controller works, but I really like the system. Dan ALSO found me a copy of Banjo-Tooie for the N64. It’s pretty popular so I was amazed at how much the cartridge cost… I used to have a copy of it but it got stolen, so I’m tickled to have it again. And Ralph and Diane stopped by and they had found some little hippie boutique and found this t-shirt for me. It’s black and has a white peace-sign made out of (cartoon) dead-bunny heads. It’s cute in a weird sort of way… I’ll have to post a picture of it.
