Hello Minna~~
Yes, I know it took me a very long time to update....But you see....I had suddenly taken very ill. I laid in bed for days...suffering....waiting for the end to come....I fell in and out of conscioussness so many times I couldn't count.
All alone...
And then one day....a beautiful maiden appeared at my side. She handed me a bag full of pink and brown material, some thread, some stuffing, a needle, and a picture. She told me, "Oh wonderful Kame-Chan....If you create the bears in this picture by the end of the night...using exactly 1,000 stitches each....I shall grant you perfect health for the remainder of the season." She smiled a wonderous, blinding smile at me. Her beauty was so overwelming that I just couldn't say no. After I accepted her deal she told me that she would return at seven the next morning to see the completed bears and to count the stitches.
And so, I set to work. Stitch after stitch I sowed monotonously. The day slowly faded away and as the sun was squeezing under the trees and the moon awoke to trade places, I began to tire. I had just about finished the first bear when I fell asleep.
Luckily Ryuta woke me in time. I told him what I was doing and that I had to do it myself or it wouldn't work. So, being the odd child that he is...Ryuta decided to sit there and watch me sow. He said he would rather have joined in, but seeing as he couldn't, he brought along some paper and crayons for when he got bored.
Normally I would have sent him away, but I thought to myself, If I fall asleep...I'll be here to wake me up again! The idea of Ryuta falling asleep after all the candy Boku-chan-tachi foolishly gave him is rediculous....It should be safe!
And so I worked into the night, occassionally getting kicked in the head by Ryuta when I would fall asleep.
As the morning came, so did the Maiden. She smiled and glanced at Ryuta,
"He didn't help you with the stitches did he?" She inquired accusingly.
I smiled half-heartedly and responsed, "No ma'am." and then gave her my trademark wink, only to get kicked in the head by Ryuta.
"Kame-chan! This is no time to be flirting!! D:<" Ryuta yelled at me. Foolish child. Ah well, give him a few years....
After counting the stitches the maiden gave me a kiss on the cheek and said, "Get well soon now!" And disappeared.
After that I slept for two days straight, and when I awoke I felt better than ever.
Now, as payment for Ryuta's services...I am being forced to take him and his friends to the upcoming ToraCon. It seems Ryuta and I will BOTH be possessing Ryotaro (Poor boy...) and dressing as Youji from Loveless. Our friend Kyo is going as Natsuo. My sister (please don't ask....D: ) is going as Ritsuka, our friend Haru is going as Nagisa, and then we have two extra characters with make-shift ears and tails accompaining us.
