Life of a Martial Artist
武道かの人生模様
Getting knocked out #1
Yes. It hurts.

Ouch. Ever since I started the Martial Arts as a child, I knew that it would mean pain. Thank GOD I was one of those kids who was cool with that 3nodding

I've been getting knocked out so much over the years that I'm used to it, and I no longer flinch for anything anymore. Mostly because I've felt some pretty sick pain, so what's a little shovel to the face gonna do?! Huh?! Why flinch?!

Well, in this Olympic TKD school I've been going to, I've been getting knocked out by their 220 lbs, 6'3" Black Belt. Frequently. I'm cool with it, but GOD.

There's 3 ways I've been knocked out, 1 being more of a black out:

1. The most common is head trauma. Take the heel of your foot, now, and feel it. Hard, ain't it? Now, slam it hard against your hand. Hard enough to hurt. Multiply that by 50, going 60 mph, and into the side of your temple (for the slow ones, your temple is on your head yay). Need I say more? INSTANT, usually. I have a hard-as-hell head, so I can take a few spinning heel kicks to the head, but, err...

2. Stomach trauma. Getting punched 50 times rapidly with no rest in the stomach usually causes me to just faint from the damage. Remember how those Pokemon used to faint from being beat on? Imagine that, not much difference, except we're all considered Fighting Pokemon, I guess.

3. Being tired. Fight enough, you sweat, your heart races, and your lungs pound. Then, after a while, everything gets real light and funny. "Ooh, look at THAT cloud!"

That's about when your body feels all warm and fuzzy, especially in your chest, and you smile in a retarded kinda way. Then, without knowing how, you wake up on the ground 2 hours later.

More info later, I have a headache. Dammit, where's my Ibuprofen...!
