As irony goes, I found out that this amalgam of emotions was absolutely nothing to go about. His intentions were clean and protective, as love will have it.

He called me, beautiful, you know. I sat, staring wide-eyed at the text in the IM window. You wouldn't expect to come out of him. I sure didn't.
He called me caring and helpful. Haha, I hope he likes me for my evil side, too.
