Midnight
1. Memories and Flashbacks
Rain pattered the sidewalk as I ran to school. Edward had taken the Volvo and I had slept a little too late. I forgot to grab an umbrella. But who really cares? I’m a vampire! My long blonde hair was up in two pony tails. My purple eyes squinted through the down pour. I splashed in a puddle and ran onto the schoolyard.
I stood there panting and then looked around. Then I saw a flash of movement in the parking lot. The silver Volvo! I stood there and saw Edward talking to a girl with brown curly hair. Then my eyes widened. I stood there in shock as I continued staring at the girl. Voices and memories swirled in my head.
“Miu! Put on your costume!” “Caitlyn whispered something horrible in my ear” “You are really a Guardian Angel!” “Eliza and Edwin where your parents Miu” “I wont let you die!” “Miu your crazy!” Bella would stand there smiling. Her brown hair was curled into two small ponytails. She stood there in her little cat costume. With her toy vampire fangs.
I shook my head and took a step forward. Then I started to walk toward them. Could it really be Bella? No it can’t be. She’s been missing ever since I lay in the forest bleeding! Or was she the one calling my name when I lay there in a bloody puddle under a wolf?
“Edward?” I asked staring at him with my purple eyes. I took another step forward and my eyes flickered to the girl. Suddenly, there was a breeze and her scent came to me in a flash. She was human.
Edward spun around quickly to face me. He looked in my direction and then smiled. “Miuataresta Cullen” He said a full name without trouble “Or should I say, Resta?”
“I prefer Resta but call me what you wish” I said still staring at the strange familiar girl. The girl stared back at me and then I continued staring. One slightest movement, one slightest sound, would make my vision go in hers.
“Miu meet Bella, Bella this is Miu” Edward said calmly. His gaze stayed on Bella. He stared at me and frowned. I knew he couldn’t read my mind. But could he read hers?
Then, we both gasped. My visions of memories went straight to hers. Edward growled in frustration. Every vision of her and me. Stomping away and sitting on a corner. Bella telling me about Caitlyn. Me running off into the forest. Laying on the forest floor bleeding. Jacob lifting me into his arms and running. Me lying on the table unconscious. Blood seeping from my body in every direction possible. Getting bitten by Carlisle. Being welcomed as the new member of the Cullen family. Figuring out what my gift was. My gift was showing people what happened, my other gift was being half werewolf, and my last gift is to have elemental powers. I was off on a trip through the forest. Never came back until today. Me running to school. Seeing the speeding Volvo. Meeting Bella again for the first time in my entire life.
The visions ended and we were able to blink again. Bella reached out and touched my cold hard skin. She looked into my new purple eyes. I smiled and showed my werewolf teeth. She stared at the pure white teeth. She stroked the softness of my skin. Then she stared at the cross on a rope around my neck. She looked down at the three bracelets on my left arm. Then she looked at the three anklets on my right leg.
I was wearing a tank top that was black and pink. The shorts were short and red with black outline. The shoes I wore were running sneakers and they were white with red outline.
“Miu I-I missed you a lot” Bella whispered and stared into my eyes “But you never said you were werewolf / vampire”.
“Let’s go home now Bella” I murmured and smiled “The Cullen house”.
I took her hand and threw her on my back. Edward was already ready. We sprinted through the forest to the house. I ran much faster than any other vampire. I ran 1,000,000,000,000,000 miles per hour. A normal vampire ran 1,000,000,000 miles per hour. I pushed myself harder and I sprinted faster than normal.
I grabbed the door and thrust it open. Bella slid off my back and walked to the couch. She sat on it and stared straight at me. And I knew what she wanted.
An explanation.
2. Explaining and Misunderstanding
“And so I became a Cullen” I ended the story from the beginning. Bella was glaring at me and Edward sighed.
“You are crazy” Bella chortled and I laughed my beautiful laughter. Bella winced at my laughter. Apparently she couldn’t get used to it.
“You’ll be a vampire soon Bella” I said in my beautiful bell voice tone. I smiled at her as we talked more about vampires and werewolves.
“Why did you go into that forest anyways? You didn’t have to go anywhere special did you?” Bella asked staring straight at me.
I stared at her and my smile faded into a frown. “Bella, the reason why I went in there is because I wanted to start a new life, find a new place, wander around living in the forest, but apparently I didn’t know I was being hunted”.
“That’s a smart thing to do for an Angel” She snorted with frustration. Edward growled, he apparently didn’t know what we were thinking. But I knew what she was.
Alice and Jasper came in the room and halted. They stared at me with wide eyes. Then they ran over and Alice hugged me.
“Oh my gosh!! Miu I thought we would never see you again!!” Alice cried into my shoulder.
Then, here comes the new Barbie, Rosalie. She was like a super skinny Barbie doll or something. She sure was blonde alright. She acted like a drama queen. I could sense she hated Bella. I growled at her.
Then Emmett came in the room and grinned at me. “Well well, look who came back from their trip!” he laughed his booming laughter.
“Miu! You’re taller than me! Stop growing!” Esme said as she walked in the room. Even Alice said it at the same time.
Then came in Carlisle. He stopped in the doorway and stared at me. I stared at him. He smiled and I flashed a smile back.
“Miu, you’re taller than Esme and Alice, even Rosalie” Carlisle approved “How was the trip?”
“Excellent, I just passed a few people on the way” I commented.
“Any shopping!”
“No Alice”
“Anything boring?”
“No Rosalie!”
“Anything troublesome?”
“EMMETT!!”
He laughed again. So did Edward.
“Anything happen in Arizona?” Carlisle said leaning forward.
“Well, Actually, Yes”
“What happened?”
“Two police officers were killed, attacked by an animal, but there bodies were torn like crazy”
No one said anything. So I continued.
“Three more peopled were murdered being lured to a cliff, the animal was a chick with short blonde hair, she pushed the guy off the edge first, he fell and there was a loud bloody scream, then there was a thud
“The woman and her child cringed away from the girl; the woman caught her heel to the edge so she eased forward a bit, the girl leaped forward towards the wife. The wife scooted farther away again. The wife took her child and asked the girl if she could speak to her child. The girl nodded. The wife stared into her child’s eyes and said words in a different language. The child nodded and had tears in her eyes. The sister bent down next to the child and stroked her face. She cooed to her and both of them cried a little. The wife and sister stood up and held each others hands. The girl launched at the mother and sister, throwing them off the cliff. The two screamed as they fell.
“As the girl stared down the cliff with her golden eye’s laughing, the child ran towards the bridge. The girl spun around quickly and ran after the child. As soon as the child came to the bridge the girl caught up to her. The child pleaded to live a life. The girl bent down as if to whisper in her ear. But then the child shrieked and leaps away. The child slipped and fell on her side to the ground. She held her neck and the tears burned away. Her skin turned cold and she turned pale white like the woman.
“‘Come with me child’ the woman spoke ‘But first tell me your name’. The child stared at her as she stood up. ‘I am Lindianretura’ she said in the same language ‘I like Indi better’. The woman smiled and she took her hand. Indi stared at the place her parents and sister died. They shot off as fast as lightning.
“As far as I heard, their heading to Phoenix” I said after telling them.
“NO!!” Screeched Bella and I cringed away from her. Then I remembered. Renee.
“She’ll be ok” I murmured.
At least, I believed myself.
3. Issues and Bonding
Bella ran upstairs and I didn’t know why. She came back downstairs with Jacob right on her heels. I stared at him with admiring eyes. He wore only shorts on. No shirt. No shoes. His hair was spiked and it was black.
Bella jabbed a finger at me and glared. “Tell him the story!” She yelled. I sighed and told him the story. He looked at me for a long time and then turned to face her. “You really need to stop over reacting” He said in his beautiful voice.
I suddenly saw a child huddled in her arms. She was a precious child. “What’s her name?” I asked.
“Renesmee” Bella snapped at me. She looked like Bella and Edward. Bella was a vampire now. But was the child? I smelled the air. Half human. Half vampire. So she had Renesmee when she was still human. But I smelled blood in the child’s breath. She drank blood from a baby bottle.
I reached out my hand. She handed me Renesmee and I held her carefully. Jacob leaned over us. Suddenly, I felt his emotion. He imprinted on her! I spun around and faced him.
“Nessie” he whispered softly.
“Nessie. Nessie. Nessie!” Bella screamed at the top of her lungs. “Stop calling her that!”
Jacob laughed and so did I. Bella stared at me with curious eyes. She didn’t find it funny apparently.
I gave Renesmee back to Bella and stared at Jacob with loving eyes. He stared at me back. He loved me to! We both smiled and raised our hands.
“Are you imprinting on another girl?” Emmett burst out into laughter.
“Jacob!” Bella gasped and held Renesmee closer.
“Bella, I can do whatever I want” he snapped. He leaned closer to me. I leaned up to him. We had to laugh. He was taller than I was.
He smiled more and so did I. We took each others hands and stared into each others eyes. I showed him everything.
“That was amazing!” he exclaimed and pressed himself closer to me. “Show me more”
And so I did. We sat on the sofa and I showed him everything. Everyone else left us alone. We were more than best friends.
We were lovers.
