Nobody knows


Nobody knows you,
The shadow,
Who follows,
And watches silently.

But nobody knows you.
The person
Who stares from across the room,
Watching silently.
Feeling uneasy. And out of place.
Nobody knows you.

You stare, observing.
Watching others
Is who you are.
And how you live.
But no, you could never do that.
You’ve built stone walls around your heart
Across a river that can’t be crossed.

You stay there, and nobody knows you.
You’re alone, and nobody knows you.

You’re invisible, and nobody knows you.
You’re a shadow, and nobody knows you.

Nobody knows, the pain you endure
On the inside.
You’re a personal disaster.
