Sketchbook, is a yonkoma by Kobako Totan. The story, or what little there is, follows the main character and the Art Club which she is part of. The story, while at most times slow to nonexistent, is not the centerpiece, as is so in most yonkomas, but the Author has managed to capture the best use of the style. Here is an example of that humor.
Interestingly enough, the manga itself is similar in many respects to the two other major yonkomas which the english audience know of, Lucky Star and Azumanaga Daioh. Whether this is a result of just the style and strengths of the Yonkoma, or the way in which Japanese humor materializes itself in this format is something I do not know. I suggest giving this a read, If you find yourself to be bored of the average Comedy Manga style.
