to know all your lies
to know whats wrong
to know everything you hide?

Am I good enough
to keep all the things you said
close to my heart
and hear them in my head?

Am I good enough
to tell you that I love you
to want to hold you tight
and believe that we can make it through?

Am I good enough
to laugh at all your jokes
to smile when you're happy
to want to keep you close?

I'm not good enough
to write this poem for you
to kiss your smiling lips
to ever be true.

I'm not good enough
to hold your hands in mine
to steal away your heart
to laugh at the same time.

I'll never be good enough
for anything you give
especially not your love
so forget me and live.

I don't want you told hold back
and waste your time and wait
for me who's slow and fragile
go through the final gates
that will lead you to true happiness
without me by your side
don't worry about what will happen
I'm not welcome to come inside.
