Dear Savior, When I First Saw You

I first saw you that day
night of the full BLOOD RED moon
I was heading to the gallows
the rope creaked, I stopped still

An angel from HEAVEN, no faults of her own
she had sadness and anger- that's such a turn on
I wanted her so I reached out, reaching so far
to a DEVIL from the DARKEST OF HELL

the noose was hung, cradling my neck
I wanted to see my woman just ONE LAST TIME
my neck strained, the floor has been dropped
the TRUTH and LIES are finally coming out

a fire, warmth, the beat of a HEART
my eyes open, I see BLOOD pump within
she turns to me, there's nothing but blanket
she offers some food, BLOOD I ASK- SHE GIVES

a smile, a hug, the acknowledgement
she cares for me, yet she sees not me
she notices my LIES. I cannot deny
she is the BOSS and yet I LOVE HER

I understand that I am drowning deep within
my monster took over; LOVE, you still gave
my will power to DESTROY, you subsided
commanding... taking over my life

I dreamt I killed you it is not forbidden

I am sentenced to DEATH, you are still there
